Throughout my university and professional carreer, I have made use of R for visualization and modelling, Python for scripting, modelling, machine learning, visualisation, automation (and pretty much anything else you might use python for apart from web development) and am extremely comfortable with its standard library, numpy, pytorch, pandas, sklearn and many other third party libraries. I used Scala during my undergraduate to write a simple compiler, Tableau for visualisation, Bash for scripting and automation along with many branches of mathematics that were honed during my undergraduate degree including Linear Algebra, Group Theory, Set Theory, Topology and Calculus. Additionally, I have been using git to manage code and collaborative projects for years and am very comfortable merging, branching and blaming (among others).
I am a recent data science graduate and current masters student with skills in data manipulation and visualization gathered from work, projects and hackathons. I am a team player having won first place in multiple categories for Bizvalidator entry in GovHack 2019.
At a previous job I identified an opportunity for automation decreasing turnaround time on programming by approximately 30%. Having been a customer facing professional I have experience effectively communicating difficult technical concepts in understandable ways.
At home, I use linux exclusively for personal computing and bash for automation of personal workflows.
